My work explores my relationship with my environment – physically and emotionally. I aim to show the “behind the scenes” details that build the experience of reality. Using photography and personal performance to interpret meanings and experiences, I seek to challenge limitations and push boundaries, as well as expand our vision of beauty. Often using myself as the performing subject, I create or reveal scenarios, experiences, or possibilities that might otherwise remain hidden or unnoticed.  JWK
